Winter And Crazy Snowracer Rides

I've mentioned earlier how much children love snow and my kids are no exception. The winters here in Stockholm are kind of lame but there is usually enough snow for some light skiing and plenty for tearing up the hills with sleds and Snowracers. I'm usually the first one out there desperately looking for some patches of snow so the kids can have fun. This year was no different and we've now had our firt rides.
Even know we only live 3 miles from city center we've got a ski slope with lifts etc. just behind our place. Snowfall isn't usually much here in Stockholm so we make artificial snow to make winters longer. Yesterday I was looking like a fool as I walked with the kids and their sleds on the sidewalk without a single piece of snow in sight. But the ski slope had covered a tiny part of a hill with artificial snow and we just had to try it out.
Last winter I had to carry Annika in the Baby Bjorn or push her in the carriage through the deep snow while I pulled Daniel on his Snowracer. This year will be very different since we've long ago discovered our daughter is a crazy dare devil. She loved the first sled ride of her life and this looks to be an awesome winter with the kids.
What fun!
The only snow we get out here is fake down at Disneyland.
Excellent post! Made snow even look like fun though the shoveling part can be left out as far as I’m concerned. Enjoyed my visit :)
