I just ran across this photo of a crew cleaning a building in my old hometown, New York City.  It made me think of the latest scare involving a weird smell throughout the city.  Me and the wife loved living in NYC and felt like we had everything there.  Not only is the city amazing but an hour outside the city you've got complete wilderness which was perfect for our many mountain bike excursions.  I never thought of the air as especially dirty but looking at the photo above is kind of scary.  And that's nothing compared to Mexico City which we will visit in a couple of months….
