Weekend Photo – Ready For Anything

Kids act weird at times, at least mine do. Especially my daughter. She's the most stubborn and determined person I've ever met. It's winter here in Sweden and that means lots of rides with the Snowracer. Turns out it's not only my son who loves this toy. My daughter is crazy about it as well.
When my kids act kind of strange I usually let them go through with it. I don't want to limit their imagination and creativity. Something I think was missing greatly from the previous generation of parents.
Today when I got back from riding in the snow with Annika she refused to take her helmet off. No big deal to me, I thought it was kind of cute. She wears if proudly and has gotten attached to it. She loves her pink helmet. So there we were at home for an hour or so, playing, and cooking dinner with her wearing the helmet and just smiling. Her mother was a little concerned when she saw the helmet but probably figured I had found a solution to handle Annika's unbelievable climbing abilities. It's sometimes a concern to me but this uncertainly and danger drives my wife crazy.
Will we survive our crazy daughter or get a heart attack before she grows up? I don't know. We might need to add a couple of extra helmets and pad her whole body down to remain sane.

That’s cute!
My son does that too. He loves his bike helmet and will want to walk around with it on.
No harm in my eyes.
