Vielen Dank TC Parkhaus!

Team mates, members, and friends at TC Parkhaus,

Thanks for a fantastic 2007 season! The ending was everything we could have hoped for. Unbelievable arrangements at the club, excellent weather, MANY supporters, great tennis, and lots of excitement. It was with great pride I played as a member of TC Parkhaus.

I think my friend Xavier Naidoo says it well when he sings:

Was wir alleine nicht schaffen das schaffen wir dann zusammen

We're a good team with many different styles but we complement each other well.

We had a great season last year and knew we could play some good tennis. Few thought we had Bundesliga capacity but we showed everyone this year we can compete with some very good teams. The weekend of July 14-15 2007 is something we all will remember for a long time.

My hopes for the weekend was for everyone, supporters, players, and spectators, to have a nice time. I wasn't thinking much of the tennis. We had reached our goal and would try our best but a nice event was important for the club. This was a great opportunity for TC Parkhaus to show people just how much fun tennis can be. I don't think anyone was disappointed.

The arrangements were simply fantastic. Every single detail was perfect. I did think it was really funny that the buses couldn't even drive on the street outside the club. Who would have thought this weekend would be so successful?

Some were disappointed by our loss on Sunday, especially since it was so close. I felt differently. We tried our hardest and came very close but the whole weekend was still great. I'm hoping this even will lead to positive things for TC Parkhaus in the future.

We are a great team but we rely on many people to work hard and make sacrifices. There are many people to thank and I would like to mention a few.

Dieter and his team - They worked hard during the whole season and made this weekend very special. Thank You All for your dedication.

Detleff and his team - The club looked fantastic and the service was amazing. Thirsty and hungry spectators are not always easy to handle but You did a great job. Thank You.

Members of TC Parkhaus - Thank You for your support and kindness during this whole season. It was amazing top see so many people show up during the weekend. Special thanks for being nice and helpful to Sandra and the kids as well.

The Sibbel Family - Heike, Robert, Jan, Philip, and Richard. Thank You for taking such great care of us all. It's not easy to have a whole family living in your house but you have showed amazing patience. Both this and last year. I promise our daughter will scream less next year (if we're allowed to come back)

Finally, lets not forget something very important. While tennis is a great game and we fight hard on the courts, there are more important things in life. Like family and children. The nice playoff weekend at TC Parkhaus was a perfect event to show people how fun and exciting tennis can be. We might be good players but we're not the future. The future belongs to our children and all the other youngsters.
