Toddler Tantrum Of The Year?
I thought my 10-month old daughter was very challenging and had no patience but I take it all back after reading about the 4-year old who caused a Delta airlines emergency landing in Philadelphia. We did have a nightmare 24-hur trip to Mexico with the kids in March but I can assure you we were never close to making an emergency landing. How can a 4- year old force a plane to land? The toddler threw a tantrum because a stewardess was bringing apple juice too slowly.
A child's tantrum onboard a Delta commuter flight forced a pilot to make an emergency landing at Philadelphia International Airport.
Chopper 10 was over the scene. The forced landing was caused by a fight over apple juice.
A 4-year-old wanted apple juice and when the stewardess didn't get it quick enough, the child threw a tantrum, NBC 10 reported.
I don't know any more than what NBC is reporting but it seems like the parents have a little behavior problem on their hands. I would not consider an emergency landing caused by my 4-year old and some apple juice to be a great parental success.
Edit: NBC is still reporting it was a 4-year old but I read somewhere else that it was an adult that got pissed about apple juice and forced the emergency landing. For the kid and parents sake, I hope the latter is true.

I shudder at the thought of a 4 year old with an almighty tantrum that would cause an emergency landing.
An adult getting pissed over apple juice? That’s just silly.
I think you broke the link to the story.
I’m not positive if it was a 4-year old? One local TV station in Chicago states it was an irate man?! Here’s the link: http://abclocal.go.com/wls/story?section=nation_world&id=5428662
Either way somebody needs a beating!!
