The Joy Of Winter
Winter makes parenting so much easier. Kids have a blast in the snow and time seems to pass quickly. It's been a nice winter in northern Sweden with some great skiing but winter in Stockholm has been lame. Since my kids love snow I've had to be creative and use the little snow available. This has meant sometimes riding on grass barely covered by snow and also many visits to the ski slope a few minutes walk away where artificial snow is made during colder days. My daughter is way to young for her own sled but loves it so much I had to get a snowracer for her as well. Anytime she sees snow she sits down on her new toy and refuses to move. I have to pull both kids to day care anytime the streets are covered with snow no matter how little. I love to see how much tehy enjoy this.
The "winter" has included a few good days but noting like the snow fest of last year. To cheer my kids up a little I've put together a little clip with some snowracer fun. If you're living in colder climate, enjoy this winter while it lasts.

I wish we had snow like this. Here we are lucky to get one snow a year and it usually only lasts a few hours before the sun comes out and melts it. Plus it’s always the kind with the grass sticking out. Most people sell their sleds and snow gear before they move here. Oh well–at least the warm weather is nice!
I MISS THE SNOW! We get an inch and we are excited! I love the sound snow makes when it falls to the ground and all is quiet. It is like snowflakes lightly tap dancing.
