Tennis World Championships - Here I Come

I don't talk much about tennis on my site. Don't know why, it's been a huge part of my lfie and opened doors you can't imagine. Maybe it's because kids are so much more important? I played professionally for many years and still play quite a bit. I would conservatively say I'm still a pretty good player. Which is why I'm on my way to Turkey for the World Championships in tennis right now. Myself and three other players have been selected to represent Sweden in the 40+ age group.
It's funny being a semi-professional athlete and also having kids. What is vacation for me, without the kids, would be the most unimaginable workkout for others. How about playing three hour matches in 90 Fahrenheit weather every day for a week? Add to that practice, taking care of the body, and keeping all equipment in order. It's still a vacation for me since I spend so much time with the kids on a daily basis.
For me it's a great reminder of how important kids are, tennis is nothing compared to them. It's also a reminder of how intense and tough it is to raise kids. When playing tennis all day long is a vacation one can just imagine how intense kids can be.
