Like father like son

The potty training is going well and Daniel seems to be enjoying himself. He REALLY likes to sit on the potty. He can sit there for 30 minutes without problems. We have a very large bathroom so when he wants to reach something on the other side he simply slides the potty along the floor. Without getting up. Lately he’s even started reading on the potty. He’s favorite is some book about trucks working at a building site. Hardly a surprise since tractors, trains, trucks, and buses are his passion.

He may have gotten the idea of reading from me but to my defense there are people in my family who have taken it to the next level. Would you believe me if I told you Foxy Wife takes the LAPTOP with her to the bathroom………?

It’s noon on Thursday here at work and we’ve got a short workday in Sweden. Time to uncork the wine bottles for some afternoon wine before heading home.

Happy Easter!

  1. What a cutie. Oh, that potty training phase! Fun, eh? By the way you’ve been tagged, if you can stand it! :)

  2. Ok, I commented and it ate it. But I think you should save that and show it to his first true girlfriend. So cute.

  3. What a great picture! He looks so happy there, chillin’ with his book. I read in the bathroom too. (But I actually know a guy who went so far as to put Internet hookups into his bathrooms, as well as the rest of the house.)

  4. Ah, the toilet. All of my greatest ideas come when sitting on the toilet.

  5. Both my husband and I read in the bathroom. My husband takes the laptop to the bathroom also. I have never done this but I don’t think I’m above it.
