Household Without Morning Sex

Have you thought about the passion your toddler has about the little things? There is this glow in the eyes, it's pure excitement. It's sad that adults lose this passion as we grow older. The corporate world sucks most fun and passion out of people. The few that keep it often become incredibly successful and well liked. They also appear "young", these people can hang with grandpa or a 20-year old and be just as comfortable. I really hope my kids can keep some of their innocence and passion as they grow older. I'm constantly reminded about how important and fun this is. Yesterday morning my 5-year old son ran into my room screaming of joy, what happened I wondered? Is Santa Clause here, did we buy a puppy, or did Mommy promise ice cream in the morning for life?
It was far better than that as my son run into our bedroom at 08.15 AM:
"Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, guess what happened?"
"Ehh, what? Is everything alright? Is Annika fine?"
"Annika is fine, but guess what just happened?"
"??"
"Annika just woke up and she didn't scream or cry!!!!!!!
"Wow, that is incredible news:-))!!"
That should give you a clue about our mornings. We're happy for the little things…… My wife and daughter have the worst morning mood ever. Last time we had morning sex was probably 1996:-)).
I hear ya, I don’t even know what morning sex is anymore. I’ll take it one step further as me and the wife go to bed very late at night, but The Tornado likes to run into the room at 4 am. I get home from work after 1 am so often the act needs to be cut short or we are interrupted by a knock on the door. The Tornado is relentless, especially at 4 am.
well don’t expect any sympathy from us. we havent either!!!
