Great Sex Can’t Be This Short

Men all over the world are cheering after reading the latest survey on sexual performance. Perhaps it's a late April Fools joke but a survey is claiming the ideal length for sex is between 3 to 13 minutes. This survey must surely have been paid by some guy who lasted 3.5 minutes and wanted to appear fantastically great. 3 minutes for great sex? I know I have two young children but you must be kidding me?!
The way the survey was done is hilarious. Women were apparently having sex with stopwatches.
Dr. Irwin Goldstein, editor of the Journal of Sexual Medicine, cited a four-week study of 1,500 couples in 2005 that found the median time for sexual intercourse was 7.3 minutes. (Women in the study were armed with stopwatches.)
I can just picture how realistic this must be……. But the best comment has to do with what's considered too short time for sex.
If that sounds like good news to you, don't cheer too loudly. The time does not count foreplay, and the therapists did rate sexual intercourse that lasts from 1 to 2 minutes as "too short."
So, 1-2 minutes is too short? What a shocker. These people must have been British and the same people who would trade sex with the wife for 6 months for a plasma TV. Funny thing is there must be millions, or perhaps billions, of men who are cheering after reading these results. "See honey, my 4 minutes are not bad at all. I'm actually outstanding!!" Yeah right. I'm looking forward to the next survey which claims the ideal penis size is 2 inches.
I'm not claiming to be a love God but anything less than 10-15 minutes must be considered a joke. If I tell Foxy Wife we're going to have wild sex for the amazing length of three minutes she will probably watch the latest episode of Prison Break instead. This might be satisfying for the man but not for the wife. Is that what the survey is all about?
If I sailed around the world on a boat with an all male crew and didn't see a woman, reached land, and was met by a naked Halle Berry wearing nothing but a thong and high heeled boots, then three minutes might be reasonable. I would really like to hear what women have to say about 3 minutes of sex, I don't know anyone who wouldn't consider that pathetic.
Don't give me any details, or do if you want:-)), but please tell me 3 minutes isn't "optimal"?

oh Lord, no. And the women with stopwatches? They must have *really* been enjoying themselves for those 3 minutes.
Are guys that never get laid? I wonder… I assume that makes a difference!
Oh, and I love Prison Break. No nookie during that time, sorry.
