Results from a long research study show married couples who fight more live longer. Keeping anger and frustration inside leads to a significantly higher rate of death according to professors at the University of Michigan. Best news I ever heard, now me and the wife can continue to argue and feel good about it.
Preliminary results from a survey of married couples suggest that disputing husbands and wives who hold in their anger die earlier than expressive couples.
Bottled anger adds to stress, which tends to shorten lives, many studies show.
I'm unfortunately an expert with keeping stuff inside and not releasing it until I absolutely can't take it an longer. Which is usually a looooong while for a very patient
asshole person like me. I do have my own theory about the results though. I think the longer life span for arguing couples has to do with sex. Like everything in life if you're a male……
Lots of arguments means far more make-up sex. And we all know make-up sex is incredibly great. So keep fighting, preferably not in front of the children, but make sure you don't get too angry at your spouse. You can be angry but need to be willing to forgive and forget as your spouse get naked. Can't believe the researchers didn't figure this one out.
