Blog controversy at MIM’s

My friend MIM, Morphing Into Mama, has recently found herself in the middle of a controversy on her blog. Some people are offering support and some are going crazy. It got so bad she had to turn comments off.
It all started with her post titled "False Advertising" about a week ago. She talks about a discussion she had in a graduate psychopathology class. A discussion that unexpectedly got more complicated than expected. She got tons of feedback after that post. A lot was supportive but there was also lots of angry comments.
Her follow-up post titled "It's like a really bad game of telephone" got even more attention and a similar reaction among people commenting. VERY intense opinions from many readers. And the private emails are supposedly terrible.
Mouse on over to her site and read the two articles. They are very well written and offer an interesting look into peoples minds. I know what I think about the whole controversy, what's your opinion?

man….it’s really heated up the o’l blogsphere hasn’t it.
I wrote about it over a DadCentric……not really an insightful analysis of it but a bit of fun about the whole sledging thing.
I think people just got whipped up into a bit of a frenzy and it all got a bit out of hand.
Got MIM some great publicity though! (not that I think that’s why she did it.)
