Just caught the Agassi-Blake match over here on Eurosport.  I will have to agree with most commentators and newspapers, it’s one of the better matches played at the US Open. i have been to that tournament countless times before but I would have loved to watch this match.  Most people don’t know Blake very well or that he’s one of the nicest guys around.  He’s getting lots of attention in the papers now and I’m not  surprised.  We have known for many years that he’s class act.  It’s so refreshing to see a great athlete that can actually behave like a human being.  Look at Blake, Federer, ‘, Agassi, Edberg, Wilander and compare those superb human beings to the fucking unintelligent and stupid Leyton Hewitt and the even more clueless Williams sisters.   Blake is by the way the guy that Hewitt made a racist remark to a couple of years ago.  Way to go Leyton.  No wonder all the players on the tour think you’re an asshole.

There are lots of nice players on the tour but I’m always amazed over how poorly the stars carry themselves.  It’s beyond pathetic. They can be stupid but why don’t they at least have a good PR person or coach around.  Serena Williams comment on the thousands of dead and the destruction of New Orleans was "I don’t watch the news much…..".  That makes her sound like a cold heartless idiot even if that’s not true.  Her sister is not any better.  she offered to give $100 per ace to the victims.  WOW.  That will add up to a few hundred dollars out of your 25 million dollar earnings this year.  Nice gesture.  Fucking  beyond belief she would come up with something that stupid.  Don’t the Williams sisters have someone in their camp that says "don’t do that, it’s a terrible idea"?  It can’t be their dad because he’s more stupid than both of them together.
